Meet Your Facilitators

 

Amanda Jane

Amanda was born and raised in Northland New Zealand and has been living on the Matakana Coast for the last 7 years.  Her experience in the wellness industry spans more than 20 years & during this time, she has worked extensively in the corporate domain, managing some of New Zealand's top 5-star luxury hotel spas as well as establishing her own a successful private practice Divinely Feminine in Matakana since 2018.

Having gained proficiency in working in both corporate & private practice environments, Amanda can relate to a wide audience of people and understands first-hand the importance of holistic self-care & how fostering a deeper connection with yourself can greatly enhance & enrich every aspect of your life. She is a highly qualified remedial masseuse, holistic facialist, vibrational medicine practitioner, sound healer & artist.

Amanda’s unique life lens & personal journey has sparked an ongoing curiosity with the workings of the metaphysical world, a direct understanding  of the immense power of our intuition & a desire to explore the boundaries of our beliefs & how they shape our experience of reality. Her joy comes from nurturing & empowering others in a deep but light hearted way, towards greater self-awareness through personal exploration.


Wendy Douglas

Wendy Douglas is a dedicated and passionate individual whose journey through the realms of yoga, life coaching, and wellness coordination has touched the lives of many. With over a decade of experience in these fields, Wendy has become a beacon of inspiration for those seeking balance, peace, and fulfilment in their lives.

As a yoga teacher, Wendy embodies the principles of mindfulness and self-discovery, guiding her students through transformative practices that nurture both body and soul. Her approach is holistic, integrating physical postures, breathwork, and meditation to foster a deep sense of awareness and connection.

In addition to her role as a yoga teacher, Wendy is also a life coach (certified in the Being Way Method)  empowering her clients to unlock their full potential and live authentically. Through personalised guidance and support, she helps individuals clarify their goals, overcome obstacles, and cultivate the mindset necessary for growth and fulfillment.

Wendy's commitment to holistic well-being extends beyond her work with individuals to her role as the Wellness Coordinator for Splore Festival. In this capacity, she curates a diverse program of activities and workshops aimed at promoting health, happiness, and community spirit among festival-goers. From yoga and meditation sessions to wellness talks and healing arts workshops, Wendy ensures that attendees have access to a range of tools and resources for enhancing their overall well-being.

Driven by her passion for helping others thrive, Wendy Douglas continues to inspire and uplift those around her, both on and off the mat. With her warmth, wisdom, and genuine care for others, she is a guiding light for anyone on the path to living a more balanced, fulfilling life.
